Jennifer Lopez, born 1969 in a Puerto Rican background family. Lopez took dance lessons throughout her early years, and at age 16 she made her debut in film through a tiny part on the film My Little Girl (1986). In 1991 she got her breakthrough role as actress in the television show In Living Color. Lopez appeared as a confused police officer in Shades of Blue, a law enforcement procedural (2016-2018). She also played a humorous character on Second Act, a comedy about a woman who is offered a coveted job at a Manhattan law firm by colleagues after they embellished their resume. Lopez joined a mostly female ensemble in Hustlers (2017) which is about strippers that scheme against the wealthy customers. In 2022, Lopez played the wife in two romantic comedies. In the film Marry Me, an aspiring pop artist, when she discovers that she's being cheated on by her husband, decides to get married to a mathematician who attended her show.
