Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She received critical acclaim for her role as Eleni Anderson Cooper in her first television role on CBS soap drama Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is working on a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She's also filming a new show called Gods & Heroes.
